Sidelobe blanking (SLB) is a technique employed in radar signal processing to inhibit detection when an unwanted signal enters the radar receiver through antenna sidelobes. For this purpose, an auxiliary antenna and receiver channel are used in the radar system. Comparing the main antenna and auxiliary antenna signal strength, a decision is made for blanking the main channel output. In this paper, a new SLB structure using multiple auxiliary antenna is introduced. Then, based on detection theory, two sub-optimal methods are proposed. These methods use the in-phase/quadrature-phase (I/Q) component of the received signal. Computer simulations confirm the superiority of the proposed methods from different points of view.
