Abstract:   (152 Views)
In this article, the design and simulation of a microwave low-pass filter using semi-circular and T-shaped resonators, open circuit stubs, and using the modern SISL structure are presented. This filter is simulated on Rogers 5880 substrates using ADS and HFSS software. The designed filter has a very low insertion loss of 0.05 dB, a return loss of 18 dB, a cutoff frequency equal to 6.4 GHz, an attenuation level better than 22 dB, suitable selectivity, and wide stop bandwidth. The special feature of this filter, which distinguishes it from conventional filters, is the lack of a protective box for radiation losses and easy surface installation, which is very effective in reducing the weight and final dimensions of the structure.
