یکی از کاربردهای آنتن آرایه‌ای پراکنده، تخمین زاویه‌ی ورود سیگنال است که در حوزه‌های رادار، ارتباطات بی‌سیم مخابراتی، سونار و ... کاربرد دارد. دسته‌ی پهپادها یکی از ساختارهای جدید پیاده‌سازی آنتن‌های آرایه‌ای پراکنده در مقالات جدید هستند. از آن‌جایی که در آنتن‌های آرایه‌ای پراکنده‌ی مبتنی دسته‌ی پهپادها هر عنصر در هرلحظه می‌تواند آزادانه جابجا شود، در این مقاله قصد داریم، به طراحی مسیر پرواز (محل قرارگیری) پهپادها با بهینه‌سازی سرعت حرکت هر پهپاد با استفاده از الگوریتم ژنتیک برای بالابردن دقت تخمین زاویه‌ی ورود سیگنال بپردازیم. با توجه به نتایج حاصل از شبیه‌سازی‌ها، طراحی بهینه‌ی مسیر پروازی پهپادها در دسته پهپاد سبب کاهش مقدار کران پایین کرامر- رائو برای تخمین زاویه‌ی ورود سیگنال می‌گردد و  یعنی دقت تخمین زاویه ورود سیگنال با بهینه‌سازی مسیر پهپادها بهبود می‌یابد.
