Nowadays, transmission pricing is one of the most challenging topics in power systems. Selection a fair price in which emphasizing on returning the cost of transmission networks to owners, and on the other side, would be a fair for users requires considerable study and examination. In transmissions mix approach, a mix of several pricing methods has been used to approach to eliminate the disadvantages of pricing methods and to cover transmission networks costs. In the proposed method of the current study, six pricing parameters have been weighted based on the market participants (loads, generators and the transmission networks’ owner) and measured in terms of the importance of these parameters. Then, based on the specified pricing methods, analytic hierarchy process (AHP1) is used to weight and measure the importance of these parameters by elites and experts in electrical engineering industry and universities. Finally, according to the weighting process and importance of parameters, the pricing is done using a mix of proposed methods which would ultimately satisfy the participants in market. The proposed method with the separation of each user‘s share (loads and generators) from transmission costs has been implemented on IEEE 42 bus system.
