 گرافن امروزه یکی از پرکاربردترین مواد در تولید دستگاه‫های نوری مانند سلول‫های فتوولتائیک، حسگرها و جاذب‫ها است. توانایی منحصر به فرد گرافن در تولید پلاسمون‫های سطحی عالی، پتانسیل منحصر به فردی را برای استفاده در مواد جاذب ایجاد می‫کند. جاذب‫های مبتنی بر گرافن برای استفاده از سنسورهای جاذب، جذب کننده‫های خورشیدی و جاذب تراهرتز بسیار کارآمد هستند. حسگرهای جاذب با استفاده از ویژگی‌های قابل تنظیم گرافن در حسگرهای زیستی برای تشخیص هموگلوبین، بیومولکول‌های ادرار و همچنین در کاربردهای پزشکی و شیمیایی قابل استفاده هستند. جاذب‫های خورشیدی برای استفاده در دستگاه‫های برداشت انرژی و تولید انرژی پاک مناسب هستند. استفاده از لایه گرافن در طراحی جاذب خورشیدی پاسخ جذب بسیار کارآمد و پهنای باند مناسبی را به همراه دارد. جاذب ترتز در دستگاه‫های سنجش و تصویربرداری قابل استفاده است. در این تحقیق، ما خواص نوری گرافن را در ساختار گریتینگ به عنوان جاذب نوری بررسی کردیم و ابعاد ساختار را برای دستیابی به جذب بیشتر گرافن تک لایه بهینه کردیم. روی گرافن تک لایه نانوروبان های طلا قرار می دهیم و برای جلوگیری از بازتاب و افزایش جذب نور توسط سازه یک لایه ضد انعکاس در بالای سازه قرار می‫دهیم. در ابتدا این ساختار تحت تابش موج صفحه TM با زاویه برخورد 0 درجه بررسی می‫شود. در مرحله بعد با تغییر عرض نانوروبان‫ها و مدت زمان تکرار سازه، ابعاد گریتینگ را بهینه کردیم. ساختار پردازش شده جذب گرافن تک لایه را تا 60 درصد افزایش داد. در مرحله بعد، رفتار پیک های جذب گرافن را در ناحیه مادون قرمز نزدیک با تغییر زاویه تابش نور با مقادیر 15، 30، 45، 60، 75 و 90 درجه بررسی کردیم. با تجزیه و تحلیل رفتار گرافن در این ناحیه، متوجه شدیم که با تغییر ابعاد نانوروبان‌های طلا، می‌توان طول موج پیک جذب را از 1000 تا 1600 نانومتر کنترل کرد. در مرحله بعد متوجه شدیم که پیک جذب سازه به زاویه تابش نور حساس نیست و با تغییر زاویه نور تابشی، تفاوت قابل توجهی در حداکثر جذب لایه گرافن وجود ندارد. این جاذب با راندمان بالا و حساسیت زاویه کم، توانایی زیادی در جذب تابش خورشید دارد و کاربردهای فراوانی در سلول های خورشیدی، ردیاب های مادون قرمز و حرارتی دارد.
