Because of high penetration of distributed resources in the distribution networks, the analysis of islanding protection in the multiple inverters situation has become of a great importance. In this paper a new method which analyzes the frequency based anti-islanding protection in the multiple inverters situation, is presented. The method has wide domain of applicability and analyzes the operation of different active and passive methods in multiple inverters situation. The non-detection zone in the multiple inverters situation is determined in a plane consisted of the island load parameters. By this method the effectiveness of different frequency based anti-islanding protection can be compared in multiple inverters situation. The simulations are performed in PSCAD environment, which verifies the capability of the proposed method.
