In this paper, reliability assessment of a distribution network that include distributed generation is studied using Monte Carlo method. There are photovoltaics (PVs), wind turbines (WTs) and gas reciprocating engine (GREs) in this distributed generation. Normal and Weibull distribution have been used for simulation of PV probability model and WT output power respectively and GRE is used for peak load. Probability model is utilized because PV and WT system have random nature. In this paper, Monte Carlo method is implemented using Entropy criterion. Roy Billinton Test System 2 (RBTS 2) is used for reliability assessment in Matlab software which PV, WT and GRE are added to it and reliability indices such as system average interruption duration index (SAIDI), system average interruption frequency index (SAIFI) and customer average interruption duration index (CAIDI) are calculated.Using Entropy Index, feeders with more valuable customer get more importance and reliability indices are improved.
